Crystal Amiel M. Estrada, RMT, MPH, PhD

Dr. Crystal Amiel M. Estrada is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Public Health of the College of Public Health, University of the Philippines Manila. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences and also received the University President’s Award at the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa, Japan.

After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she served as a research assistant to the five-year research program “Prevention and Control of Leptospirosis in the Philippines (LEPCON)”, a research collaboration of the Department of Medical Microbiology College of Public Health University of the Philippines Manila, DOST PCHRD, and JICA. She also served as the Faculty Head of the School of Medical Technology of Global Innovative College. Aside from her current duties as faculty of the department, she is also a member of the Osaka University UNESCO Chair in Global Health and Education.

Dr. Estrada has attended local and international conferences, seminars, and workshops on public health, global health, school health, and mental health. Her research engagements and interests are on school health and occupational health, with a focus on mental health.
