Ana Kriselda B. Rivera, RMT, MPH
Assistant Professor

PProf. Ana Kriselda B. Rivera is an alumna of the Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) and Master of Public Health (MPH) programs of the University of the Philippines Manila. From 2010-2015, she worked as a Research Associate in the DOST-PCHRD and JICA research program “Prevention and Control of Leptospirosis in the Philippines (LEPCON)”. After which she served as a Medical Technologist/ Cytotechnologist at the Gynecologic Cytology Unit, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and later on at the Surgical Pathology Unit, Department of Laboratories of the Philippine General Hospital from 2015 to 2018. In that same year, she became part of the faculty of the Department of Nutrition, College of Public Health, UP Manila.

In 2019, she received a fellowship grant for the Post Graduate Training on Food Safety by SEAMEO RECFON in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is a member of the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET), American Society for Nutrition (ASN), and World Public Health Nutrition Association (WPHNA). Her research interests include women’s and child’s health, food safety, and nutrition policy.
