Victorio B. Molina, MPH, PHD

Dr. Victorio B. Molina is an Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, College of Public Health, University of the Philippines Manila.  He obtained his degree in Civil Engineering from Bicol University and Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology. He earned his Master of Public Health from the College of Public Health, University of the Philippines Manila and PhD in Environmental Science from the University of the Philippines Los Banos.

He was a visiting research fellow of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, Kyoto, Japan, with the research project, “Managing Environmental Risks to Food and Health Security in Southeast Asian Watersheds”. His research on “Health Risk Assessment of Heavy Metals Bioaccumulation in Laguna de Bay Fish Products” received an international award, the 2011Ibaraki Kasumigaura Prize Award for the most outstanding paper on lake conservation.

Dr. Molina serves as resource speaker and consultant in the field of environmental and occupational health such as hospital waste management, health risk assessment, environmental health impact assessment, water and sanitation, solid waste management, pollution control and climate change, among others
