PProf. Rose Abigail D. Enoveso-Duarte obtained her Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree from the College of Public Health, University of the Philippines Manila. After graduation, she completed the externship program for medical technologists in the Philippine General Hospital. She then became a research assistant for several projects of the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health from 2012 to 2016 including the Philippine National Asbestos Profile, Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water, and the National Chemical Safety and Management Program. In 2013, she pursued further studies in the College of Public Health. She graduated in 2017 with a degree of Master of Science in Public Health with an Environmental Health track.

Prof. Enoveso-Duarte has attended international and local conferences, seminars, and training on public health, occupational health, and environmental health. Her undergraduate research dealt with occupational hazards of sanitary inspectors while her studies later on focused on environmental health impact assessment and hospital indoor air quality. As faculty she also became engaged in several College and University committees. One of her major contributions to the College is her involvement in the curricular revision of the Bachelor of Science in Public Health Program. She has also served as a technical reviewer for the Single Joint Research Ethics Board of the Department of Health and as a member of Panel 5B of the UP Manila Research Ethics Board. Her research interests remain on air quality, health impact assessment, disaster risk reduction, and health effects of climate change.
