Prof. Kim L. Cochon is an Assistant Professor 1 from the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She finished Master of Science in Public Health (Biostatistics) in the University of the Philippines Manila. She is a panel member of the University of the Philippines Ethics Review Board (Panel 5B) and serves as a technical reviewer for several local publications including the Philippine Journal of Health Research and Development. She also acts as a statistical/technical consultant for projects funded by institutions such as the World Health Organization, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Philippine Department of Health, United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, etc. Her research interests focus on epidemiologic and biostatistical methods, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, health systems, health economics, maternal and child health, mental health, and other priority diseases in the Philippines. She is well versed in using statistical software such as Stata, R and Epi Info.
