Anna Priscilla B. Cadiz, RN, MOH
Assistant Professor

Ms. Anna is a nurse by profession. She practiced this profession in various hospitals in Laguna while continuing professional education through the Basic Skills Training for Nurses in the Lung Center of the Philippines in 2009.

She then took up Master of Occupational Health (MOH) in the College of Public Health (CPH), UP Manila in 2012, and started working at the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health (DEOH) - CPH as a Research Associate in one of Department’s projects entitled: Strengthening of the National Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), specifically on the component on the OHS Program for Public Health Workers, Informal Mining, Transport, and Agriculture Sectors. She has also finished various training courses offered by the college, such as the Postgraduate Course in Occupational Health and Safety offered by DEOH in 2014, Training Courses on Research Ethics, and several Public Lectures on Occupational Health.

In 2015, she served the College of Public Health as a University Researcher in the College's Research Office. Upon completion of her Masters degree program in the same year, she then became an Assistant Professor in the DEOH and is currently teaching OH courses of the MOH and Master of Public Health (MPH) program, Industrial Hygiene and OHS topics to BS Public Health undergraduate students. She is also currently one of the focal persons of the DEOH research team involved in the development of a 5-year roadmap for the OHS program for public health workers and the informal workers in the mining, transport, and agriculture sectors.
