8th Scientific Meeting of International Leptospirosis Society,

The 8th Scientific Meeting of International Leptospirosis Society (ILS) was held at the Centennial Hall, Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan from October 8 to 11, 2013. This was attended by the LepCon group>leaders Dr. Nina Gloriani, Dr. Maridel P. Borja, Prof. Lolita Cavinta and Prof. Jonathan P. Guevarra of the College of Public Health, University of the Philippines Manila among others. Oral presentations were delivered by Dr. Gloriani, Dr. Borja and Prof. Cavinta while Prof. Guevarra prepared a poster presentation on the prevention and control of leptospirosis in the Philippines.
